This policy explains what information Workers Claim Check ("we", "us") collects on workersclaimcheck.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. Workers Claim Check is operated by 18329991 Canada Inc., Ontario, Canada.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your answers to our quiz questions, your name, and your phone number.
- Consent records: the consent text you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser type. We use a service called TrustedForm, which records your visit to our quiz page, including what you type, tap, and click, so we can show that you agreed to be contacted. By using the quiz, you consent to this recording.
- Site analytics: we use PostHog to see how visitors move through our pages and quiz, including recordings of visits with everything typed into forms hidden. We use this only to improve the site.
- Usage information: pages you visit on our site, the ad or link that brought you here, and basic device and browser information, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use your information
- To call or text you about the workers' compensation case review you asked about.
- To connect you with a participating attorney if your situation is a fit.
- To keep records of your consent and to follow the law.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our intake team (SwiftOutbound), which calls you on our behalf.
- Law firms we work with, so they can contact you about a case review. We may share your request with more than one firm. These firms pay us for connecting them with you.
- Service providers that help us run the site, such as website hosting (Cloudflare), consent recording (TrustedForm), and site analytics (PostHog).
- Advertising platforms: if you came from a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad, we tell Meta when a visit results in a request so we can measure our ads. When we do, your name and phone number are sent in a scrambled (hashed) form, along with your IP address, browser details, and the ad click ID. We never send your quiz answers to Meta.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights.
We don't share your information with anyone else for their own marketing.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any text message.
- Stop calls: tell our team on the phone, or email [email protected] with your phone number.
- Access or delete your information: email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. We may keep consent records as the law requires.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also adjust ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and keep consent records for at least as long as the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
